Congratulations to Jeremy Gonzalez!

Please join us in congratulating Jeremy Gonzalez on his promotion to Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)!

Since joining BMA as an IT Support Specialist, Jeremy has taken on increasing responsibilities in compliance and security, building the experience and leadership skills that prepared him for his role as ISSM.

Through that transition, Jeremy learned the importance of balancing technical security requirements with business operations while fostering effective communication across teams. The ability to bridge technical and organizational needs has become a key strength in his professional growth.

One of the aspects of his work he enjoys most is the opportunity to solve complex problems while helping protect the organization. He is also passionate about the ever-evolving nature of cybersecurity and compliance, embracing the continuous learning required to stay ahead of emerging technologies and threats.

When asked what has made his time at BMA memorable, Jeremy pointed to the people.

"I've appreciated being surrounded by knowledgeable people who are willing to share their experience and support each other while working toward common goals."

Outside of work, Jeremy has another passion that many coworkers may not know about. He has practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for nearly 20 years, a discipline that has taught him resilience, discipline, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Not surprisingly, he sees many of those same qualities as valuable in cybersecurity and leadership.
