This summer, our team had the pleasure of working alongside Caleb Vallejo, who joined BMA as a summer intern. Caleb, who is now heading to the Stillman College to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business management, brought enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset to every task he tackled.
Throughout his internship, Caleb supported our operations team with a variety of projects, but one in particular stood out to him.
“This summer I was super busy with entering POs into Unanet,” Caleb said. “I completed a lot of them, and I’m proud of that because I learned the software and since then, it just clicked.”
His attention to detail and willingness to jump in wherever needed helped keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. More than that, Caleb recognized the value of the work he was doing.
“I took away how important my task was to the team and how much easier it made everything for them.”
His ability to recognize the value of his contributions highlights the maturity and team awareness he brought to the role.
“One of the most valuable things I learned this summer was how important every member’s role is. If one person doesn’t do their task, it messes everyone up,” he reflected. “I got to see and understand why the tasks you are assigned with need to get done ASAP.”
When asked about the company culture, Caleb described BMA as a place where collaboration and support take center stage.
“The culture is very supportive and team-oriented. We all look out for one another and communicate about everything. It’s a place where you feel very appreciated and motivated to do your best.”
As Caleb heads into his next chapter at Stillman College, we are confident he will continue to grow as a leader, teammate, and professional. We’re grateful for the time he spent with us this summer and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the future.
